When a motorist carves up a cyclist in London there is usually a few angry words exchanged, perhaps an unpleasant hand signal. In Denmark, when petrol heads tried to bulldoze the bike lanes the cyclists burned the cars.

Ok, so that’s not strictly true. One car was smashed up and it was “lent” by a campaigner willing to publicise the cause. But it illustrates how strongly Danes feel about their bikes. This country loves the bicycle. On every street there are bikes cruising past and outside every shop is an “iron horse” often unlocked, since bike theft is so uncommon. Everyone owns a bicycle and some people have two. In central Copenhagen half the population bike to work.

Steps for Positive Observation

STEP 1: Recognize
What we are conditioned to experience... Where does the belief come from?  Your belief or someone else's belief?

STEP 2: Realize
A positive outlook is a choice... You are always at choice.  Example: Are you a smoker or someone who chooses to smoke?

STEP 3: Quantify
The positive and productive potential found within... You are and always have been total potential... Grab it... Grow it!
